Anna Faris was born November 29, 1976
(Year of the Dragon),
in Seattle, Washington, the
daughter of Jack and Karen Faris. A natural blonde, with dark blue
eyes, Anna started her acting career at the age of nine at Washington's
Seattle Repertory Theater, with additional training in improvisational
theater.
Anna Faris later moved to London to write and work. She accepted a role in a
teen slasher picture, "Lover's Lane" (1999), then moved to Los Angeles
to pursue an acting career. She is best known for her roles as a
raven-haired brunette in "Scary Movie" and its three sequels, as well as
"The Hot Chick" (2002) and the popular feature film "Lost in Translation."
