Denise Richards
Denise Richards was born Denise Lee Richards in Downers Grove, Illinois
a suburb of Chicago, on February 17, 1972, to a Welsh father and a
Croatian mother. The family moved to California when Denise was
fifteen. After Denise graduated from high school, she started out as a
model in Paris, New York, and Tokyo, eventually becoming a makeup model
for a cosmetics firm. Not satisfied with her career, she dreamed of
acting, and soon tried out for roles in both movies and television. She
made minor appearances on Saved By the Bell, Married With Children
(1991), Beverly Hills 90210 and achieved a brief but significant role on
Seinfeld, getting George Castanza in trouble when he looked down her
blouse. To this she added Melrose Place and Spin City with Michael J.
Fox.
She finally made it to the big screen in a memorable role in
Starship Troopers. She went on to star in Wild Things (1998) with Matt
Dillon and Neve Campbell, which included a screen kiss with Campbell
during a threesome, that made her a more desirable actress. After this,
she went on to become a Bond girl with Pierce Brosnan in "The World Is
Not Enough." After a series of insignificant films, she had a major role
in a hit comedy in 2002, "Undercover Brother." Denise married Charlie
Sheen with whom she has had two daughters. Perhaps this was destiny,
for according to Denise, "Doing love scenes is always awkward.
It's just not a normal thing to go to work and lay in bed with your
co-worker." After modeling for men's magazines, Denise has also been
proclaimed the Sexiest Mom of 2005 by "In Touch" magazine.
