Jessica Alba

Jessica Marie Alba was born April 28, 1981 (Year of the Rooster), in Pomona, California. Her family moved to Mississippi when she was young, then later to Texas. By the time Jessica was nine, the family had resettled to southern California. Jessica took acting classes at age 12, and shortly thereafter signed with an agency. That same year (1993), she appeared in her first movie, "Camp Nowhere." This was followed by commercials and a few independent films. She continued to appear in children's shows, the most successful being as Maya in "Flipper." She then moved on to a variety of television shows, including "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Love Boat." As she grew older, her natural beauty became apparent, and magazine photos and appearances increased. She finally landed the leading role in the popular series "Dark Angel," allowing her to achieve stardom. She later had a role in the Bruce Willis film, "Sin City." (2005). Her future is bright and awaiting that one dramatic appearance that will launch her into a household name.
