Nadia Bjorlin, an actress and model, is five-foot eight-inches tall,
with blue eyes and brown hair. Like other multi-talented young women,
such as Ninel Conde,
Nadia has been able to combine modeling, acting, and singing. The soap
opera star and singer was born in Newport, Rhode Island on August 2,
1980 to Ulf and Fary Bjorlin, blessed with Swedish and Persian heritage.
Nadia lived in Sweden until age seven, and started her career in Europe,
first in commercials, then in minor acting roles. She is the daughter
of a Swedish composer and conductor (Ulf Bjorlin) who died in 1993. Her
Persian mother, Fary, is an interior decorator, from whom Nadia gets her
sultry good looks. In 1998, Nadia was 2nd runner-up in the Miss Florida
Teen USA Pageant. Nadia is multilingual, speaking Persian (Farsi),
Swedish, French, Russian, Italian and English.
Nadia is best known for her portrayal of soap character, Chloe Lane
(starting Dec 1999), on "Days of Our Lives." With a
background in singing (opera) and a new CD, Nadia was able to use her
talents to develop her soap character from an ugly duckling nerd into a
singing beauty. She left the soap opera in 2003 to pursue her musical
career. Although she returned on a recurring basis in 2004, she left a year
later to join "Sex, Love and Secrets" in the autumn of 2005. Primarily
an actress and singer, Nadia's good looks have allowed her to be chosen as a
model for an upcoming Maxim/Stuff calendar.
Nadia has found additional work on an Internet radio station. The
talented musician also plays the flute, harp, piano and guitar, like the
multi-talented instrumentalist, Julieta Venegas and she
has the distinction of having performed in a Ricky Martin video, "Shake
Your Bon Bon," as a go-go dancer in a shimmering silver skirt. Nadia's
beauty and multiple talents guarantee many future projects for the young
actress.
