Nicci Juice was born on November 19, 1975 in the Ruhr Valley region of
Germany. At an early age, Nicci was attracted to roller skating and
joined a, roller skating club. After Nicci graduated from school where
she had concentrated on music studies, she was discovered by a music
producer who offered to record some demos. Nicci, now known as the
Rollergirl, went to Hamburg where she released her debut single, "Dear
Jessie," a hit in England that was followed by the singles, "Luv U
More," "Eternal Flame," and "Superstar." Her debut album, "Now I'm
Singin'," soon followed and was equally successful throughout Europe.
Nicci Juice expanded her horizons, becoming a broadcast co-host and
radio presenter. With her fans extending into Asia, Nicci Juice has
since toured Japan, during which she fell in love with Japanese culture,
with a special interest in the history of the role of women in Japanese
society.
