Niki Taylor was born on March 5, 1975 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the
state home of many other beautiful women, including model
Elisa Bridges.
Originally planning to become a marine biologist, Niki changed her plans
when her mother submitted photos of the teenage girl to a Florida
modeling agency.
Niki was quickly signed and it wasn't long before she
was appearing in French catalogues and magazines, all at the age of
fourteen. Niki's older sister, Krissy also became a rising model, but
tragedy struck when the girl died at age seventeen from asthma. Six
years later, tragedy struck again when Niki was injured severely in an
car crash in Georgia in April of 2001.
By age sixteen, Niki had already made her first million dollars, having
appeared on more than 150 magazines, including the top of the line:
Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar. When she was only
seventeen, she became the youngest model ever to sign a multi-million
dollar contract for cosmetic giant L'Oreal. She also became the
youngest model to appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine.
Niki has
modeled for the best, including Nokia, Victoria's Secret, Liz Claiborne,
and the Gap. She appeared on the catwalks for the best fashion houses,
including Calvin Klein, Givenchy, and Chanel. She has also completed
photoshoots for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and has had her own
calendars released, a feature of many of the celebrity beauties,
an example being
Sandra Hubby. Having been named one of the 50 Most Beautiful
People in the World by People magazine, Niki remains busy and active,
enjoying many sports while still spending quality time in the company of
her family.
