Shannon Whirry
Shannon Whirry, an actress of B-grade movies was born in Wisconsin,
U.S.A. on November 7, 1964. After she attended high school in Green
Lake Wisconsin, she initially found work in B-movies that emphasized
comedy and action. The five-foot seven-inch glamorous actress,
eventually acquired a role in the TV series Black Scorpion and made her
way into mainstream feature films. Her career got its start when Inner
Sanctum produced many inexpensive straight-to-video thrillers in the
early 1990s. Many B-grade stars appeared, including Tanya Roberts,
Shannon Tweed, and Delia Sheppard. When the public tired of the new
genre, Shannon Whirry was able to find some television roles, and she
also appeared in the Jim Carrey film, "Me, Myself, and Irene" in 2000.
Other film credits include "Lying in Wait" (2000), "Lois Mach 2" (2000),
and "The Prophet's Game" (1999), to list only a few.
